I want to first thank everybody who has supported the Pee Dee Hockey League this season. I know it’s been a frustrating last few years, with a week’s worth of ice one year and a month the next. It was beyond my control that this happened. But at least we had some hockey time which is better than none. The Pee Dee Hockey League has had some successful years the last 6 years that I have been involved with it (3 as Vice President and 3 as President). I would like to personally thank Jimmy Milliken for his hard work of getting Men’s League Hockey back here when no one else would do it. I would like to thank every sponsor we have had over the years whether it be jersey’s, teams, pucks, league sponsorships, there are too many to name but you all know who you are. I would like to thank the Florence Civic Center for supplying the ice and without them this would be impossible to have. I regretful am writing this to you to let everyone know that all good things come to an end, as I am no longer going to be the President of the Pee Dee Hockey League. Not sure what this will mean for your future with Ice Hockey in Florence but I will no longer be affiliated with getting ice dates. I hope somebody will step up and do this for everyone but I can no longer do this, it’s not about money because I pocket nothing and don’t want too. I do this for the fellowship, and for the love of the sport of Hockey. I hope whoever takes over will have that same passion and drive as I did. So to all the friends I have made along the way, thanks and we will definitely see each other again. Thank you once again

The PDHL would like to thank everyone for coming out and supporting us this season. Without you guys this would never happen, or not as fun. Thanks to the Florence Civic Center for giving us the opporunity to work with them and show them there is still support for hockey in Florence.

The PDHL is a men's hockey league based out of Florence, South Carolina. We play our games in the Florence City County Civic Center. We will take first time players and we also will take old pros who have skated all their lives and want to play or just come out and skate. We require all players to be USA Hockey registered to play, to get registered to play please click here or on the link above. If you have never skated before, the PDHL is also for you. We have several people who will work privately with you and at your own pace to give you the knowledge and ability to play the fastest sport on ice.
